We know that 12 can be factored as: 12 = 4 * 3

Hence, sqrt%2812%29+=+sqrt%284+%2A+3%29

And this can be written as: sqrt%284%29+%2A+sqrt%283%29

Therefore,

sqrt%2812%29+=+sqrt%284%29+%2A+sqrt%283%29

Hence, EQN (1) can be written as:

sqrt%2812%29%2Fsqrt%283%29+=+%28sqrt%284%29+%2A+sqrt%283%29%29%2Fsqrt%283%29
