Question 204724: solve by using quadratic formula (((6x2+3x-18=0)))
my answer is x=-2 3/2
-b+- sq root of b^2-4ac/2a
a=6
b=3
c=18
so -3+-sqrt[9-4(6)(-18)]/12
-3+-sqrt(441)/12
(-3+-21)/12 and x=(-3-21)/12
x=-3+21/12 and x=-3-21/12
x=18/12=3/2 and x=-2
this is how I came up with this answer is this right?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
it's right. But next time to check if your answers are right just plug the x's into the original formula (6x^2+3x-18=0) and see whether it's actually equals.
