You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let
L be the length
W be the width
Suppose
L=3w
Our formula for finding the area is L multiplied by the width (A=L*W).
So, firstly we substitute the value of L
3w%2Aw=6.75
3w%5E2=6.75
Apply division property to isolate w%5E2
3w%5E2%2F3=6.75%2F3
w%5E2=2.25
Square root both sides
sqrt%28w%5E2%29=sqrt%282.25%29
Where w=1.5
If w is 1.5 then length is 3 times its width which is equal to 4.5
Check
1.5 * 4.5
=6.75
Therefore our width is 1.5 m and length is 4.5m
