%28x-2%2F5%29%5E2+=+49%2F25 Extract the square root of both sides.
%28x-2%2F5%29+=+7%2F5 or %28x-2%2F5%29+=+-%287%2F5%29
If %28x-2%2F5%29+=+7%2F5 Add 2%2F5 to both sides.
x+=+9%2F5 or
If %28x-2%2F5%29+=+-%287%2F5%29 Add 2%2F5 to both sides.
x+=+-%285%2F5%29 so x+=+-1
The solutions:
x+=+9%2F5
x+=+-1
