Question 108156: The velocity ( v meters per second ) of a body is known to be proportional to the sqaure root of it's kinetic energy ( e ejoules). When the velocity of a body is 120m/s it's kinetic energy is 1600J.
Write down the relationship between v , e using k as the constant of varation.
Calculate the value of k
v = 21 , calculate the kenetic energy of the body in joules.

Question 109010: Jose rode a trail bike for 10 miles. 2/3 of the distance was over a mountain trail. How long is the mountain trail.
I cannot quite figure this out I know 2/3 = 4/6 which is 0.66666 but cannot figure out the distance part. I appreciate any help on this please.
