My question is :
QUESTION: a boy weighs 56.7kg.If he reduces his weight in the ratio 7:6, find his new weight.
Solution: Original weight of this boy =56.7kg
he reduces his weight in the ratio 7:6
His new weight =(6 x 56.7)/7=6 x 8.1=48.6kg
Actually I want to know that why we have multiplied 56.7 with 6 and why not with 7?
