You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The perimeter of a rectangle measures 92". The length is one more than twice the width. What are the dimensions of the rectangle?
-----
width:: x
length:: 2x+1
------
Perimeter = 2(length + width)
92 = 2(2x+1 + x)
--------
46 = 3x+1
3x = 45
x = 15
-----
width:: x = 15 inches
length:: 2x+1 = 31 inches
--------------
