16%2F%284d%2B2%29 = 8%2F3

Cross multiply:

%2816%29%283%29 = 8%284d%2B2%29

Multiply and distruibute

     48 = 32d%2B16
   
Add -16 to both sides

  48+-+16 = 32d 

     32 = 32d

Divide both sides by 32

     32%2F32 = %2832d%29%2F32

      1 = d

So the answer is d = 1

It isn't on your list, so let's check it:

   16%2F%284d%2B2%29 = 8%2F3

 16%2F%284%281%29%2B2%29 = 8%2F3

    16%2F%284%2B2%29 = 8%2F3 

      16%2F6 = 8%2F3

Reduce the fraction on the left:

      8%2F3 = 8%2F3

So d=1 is the correct answer.

So the worksheet is in error.  Unfortunatelty,
this sort of thing happens sometimes.
