We weren't sure where to start so we turned it into a decimal came out with .2 to .5 closest choice that we have is 2/5. Tried to do next problem & this method did not work, so trying to figure out how I need to go about solving these type of problems. Please help, thank you!

2/10: 5/10 ... make each fraction have the same denominator

2:5 ... multiply both by 10

So 1/5: 1/2 turns into 2:5 and this ratio turns into 2/5
