Question 684336: I'm trying to do a project and I have to use proportions and ratios to make a recipe that serves 8 serve 30 people.So I choose d chocolate chip cookies and one of the ingredients you need 1/2 tsp. of brown sugar so my question is how do i set up the proportion for this problem and how do i solve it?

IF THE 1/2 TSP. IS FOR THE 8 SERVINGS.
THEN THE 30 SERVINGS WILL REQUIRE -
1/2(30/8)
.5*3.75=1.875 TSP ANS.
