Question 606454: My math problem is this: A 6-oz box of candy has 350 calories. How many calories would a 10-oz box contain?
I worked the problem, but don't think my answer is correct. Can you look over my work and tell me if this is right?
6/350 = 10/x, 6x/6 = 3,500/6,
so x = 583.3
