You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If %282x-y%29%2Fy = 5%2F3, then find the ratio of x : y .
:
%28%282x-y%29%29%2Fy = 5%2F3
Cross multiply
5y = 3(2x-y)
5y = 6x - 3y
5y + 3y = 6x
8y = 6x
divide both sides by y
8 = %286x%29%2Fy
divide both sides by 6
8%2F6 + x%2Fy
We can reduce the fraction and write it
x%2Fy = 4%2F3
