(x+2)(x+1) = 20
x^2 + 3x + 2 = 20
x^2 + 3x - 18 = 0
factoring
(x+6)(x-3) = 0
(x+6)=0 x= -6 Extraneous solution(CANNOT divide by zero)
(x-3) = 0 x = highlight%283%29 AND 5/5 = 4/4 = 1 (checking out answer)
