If a%2Fb=c%2Fd, then ad=+bc.

If b%2Fd=+a%2Fb, then b%5E2+=+ad. This is NOT the same, so they are not equivalent equations.

By the way, did you copy the problem correctly??? Maybe you meant to have a "c" in your first equation?
