I believe there are only 2 kinds
:
directly and indirectly
:
y varies directly with x y/x=k
y varies indirectly with x y*x=k
:
:
a third I suppose would be a mixture or combination of those two

y varies directly with x and indirectly with z (y*z)/x=k
