You can put this solution on YOUR website! (y+10)/(y+3)= (y+1)/(y-1)
To have the same denominator for both fractions, we multiply the first fraction by (y-1) and the second fraction by (y+3)
(y-1)(y+10)-(y+1)(y+3) / (y+3) (y-1)
Do the multiplications
(y^2-y+10y-10-y^2-y-3y-3)/ (y-1) (y+3)
Simplify the same terms
(5y-13)/(y-1)(y+3)
