.

The entire job is   15*8 = 120   machine-hours.

Two machines,  working  10  hours per day each,  will complete the job in   120%2F%282%2A10%29 = 6 days.         ANSWER

15 days with one machine working 8 hours a day.

Using 2 machines instead of 1 multiplies the required number of days by a factor of 1/2.

Working 10 hours a day instead of 8 multiplies the required number of days by a factor of 8/10 = 4/5.

So the number of days required with 2 machines working 10 hours a day is

(15)(1/2)(4/5) = 6
