I don't think it is possible to achieve the desired ratio with the given numbers.

Since the current ratio of boys to girls is 3:5, you can divide the total number of current students by 8 (3 + 5), and then multiply that quotient by 3 to get the number of boys and by 5 to get the number of girls. 90 times 3 is 270 and 90 times 5 is 450.

Now, in order to have a boy to girl ratio of 2:3 after adding 16 girls, the number of girls must be divisible by 3 and, of course, the number of boys must be even. However, 466 is not divisible by 3. Of course, if you allow fractional parts of a student to be enrolled, then you could have 466 girls and enroll 40 and 2/3 boys for a total of 310 and 2/3 boys.
