You can put this solution on YOUR website!
That means, asking if 2%2F%284%2F5%29=%283%2F4%29%2F%282%2F10%29 is true. The test is simple arithmetic of fractions. Enough or not?

.

By the definition, a proportion is an equality of two ratios.

So, you calculate one ratio, 2%2F%28%284%2F5%29%29 = %282%2A5%29%2F4 = 10%2F4 = 5%2F2

and another ratio, %28%283%2F4%29%29%2F%28%282%2F10%29%29 = %283%2A10%29%2F%284%2A2%29 = 30%2F8 = 15%2F4.

Then you compare these two ratio (expressed in simplest form), and what you see ?
