.
W%2FL = 3%2F4

W%2F37 = 3%2F4  ====>  W = %283%2F4%29%2A37.

The correct answer is  W ( the width) = %283%2F4%29%2A37 = 27.75 inches.

Your answer is not correct.

w:L is as 3:4
Using w for width and L for length.

Given a length on the drawing of 37 inches, w unknown width,
3%2F4=w%2F37

w=%283%2F4%29%2837%29

highlight%28w=27%263%2F4%29

Read the problem carefully and then look at the answer you say you got. You used a width:length ratio of 4:3 -- not 3:4.
