You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The clock gains 10 minutes every 1440 minutes or 1 minute every 144, or 25 seconds every hour
The clock will read 3 pm the following day in 29 hours or 1740 minutes.
When the clock reads 10 am the following day, it is 9:50 am in real time. In 5 more hours to 3 pm, the clock will be 125 seconds faster, to the true time will be 125 seconds less than 2:50 pm or 2:47.55 or 14h47m55s.

First sentence describes a ratio.
%2824%2F%2824%2B10%2F60%29%29%28TrueHours%2FOntheClockHours%29

You want to simplify this a bit.
24%2F%2824%2B1%2F6%29

24%2F%28145%2F6%29

24%2A6%2F145

%28144%2F145%29%28TrueHours%2FOntheClockHours%29

..
The description in the question is about some time quantity, ON THE CLOCK.
10AM to 10AM on the clock is 24 hours; next, from this 10AM to nearest 3PM is 5 hours more, so total of 29 hours ON THE CLOCK, not true hours of time.

Now ready to use the ratio to get the TIME QUANTITY, not yet the time point.
29%2A%28OntheClockHours%29%28144%2F145%29%28TrueHours%2FOntheClockHours%29

True Hours passed, 28 Hours 0.8 Hour
28 Hours 48 Minutes. That is AMOUNT of time after the 10AM of previous day.

A clock is set right at 10 AM.The clock gains 10 minutes in 24 hours. What will be the true time when the clock indicates 3 PM the following day?
It gains 10 minutes in 24 hours, so it gains 12.08333333 minutes in 29 (10:00 AM one day to 3:00 PM, the following day) hours.
Therefore, when it "says" 3:00 PM the following day, correct time is: 3:00 PM - 12.083 minutes, or approximately: highlight_green%28matrix%281%2C2%2C+2%3A48%2C+PM%29%29
