Multiply the second equation by -5 and add to the first to eliminate x.
5x-7y-5x%2B20y=-12%2B15
13y=3
y=3%2F13
Then use either equation to solve for y.
5x-7%283%2F13%29=-12
5x-21%2F13=-156%2F13
5x=%28-156%2B21%29%2F13
5x=-%28135%2F13%29
x=-%2827%2F13%29
