You can use point-slope form for convenience and convert into standard form.

m=%281-%28-7%29%29%2F%28-3-2%29=-8%2F5.

The point-slope form of the LINE is y-%28-7%29=-%288%2F5%29%28x-2%29.
Convert into standard form.

Using m, or slope of -8%2F5, and the point, (- 3, 1), we get:

y+-+1+=+-%288%2F5%29%28x+-+-+3%29 

y+-+1+=+-+%288%2F5%29%28x+%2B+3%29

y+-+1+=+%28-+8x%29%2F5+-+24%2F5

5y+-+5+=+-+8x+-+24 ------- Multiplying by LCD, 5

5y+=+-+8x+-+24+%2B+5%29
