You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3%5E2+%2B+%28-2%29%5E3%2B+%284%5E2-5%29 has 3 terms:
3%5E2 , %28-2%29%5E3 , and %284%5E2-5%29 ,
separated by signs indicating addition.
According a very widely accepted old convention, addition and subtraction are the last operations we do when more than one operation is indicated (except as directed by parentheses).
Evaluating terms 3%5E2 , and %28-2%29%5E3 is straight forward.
Term %284%5E2-5%29 is wrapped in parentheses for no good reason.
In this particular case, the expressions with and without those parentheses are equivalent.
However, I will pretend I don't know that and I will calculate what's inside the parentheses first.
4%5E2-5 is calculated by evaluating 4%5E2 first and subtracting 5 after that.

All in all,
3%5E2+%2B+%28-2%29%5E3%2B+%284%5E2-5%29=9%2B4%2B%2816-5%29=9%2B4%2B9=highlight%2822%29
