SOLUTION: this is the equation : x^2-1/2x=1/3
what i have so far is :
x^2-1/2x+1/16=19/48 and i tried to factor and i got : (x-1/4)^2=19/48
i need help trying to go on from there.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! x^2-1/2x=1/3
----
x^2 - (1/2)x - (1/3) = 0
Use the Quadratic Formula.
x = [-b +- sqrt(b^2-4ac)]/(2a)

------ Taking the square root of both sides
You should be able to calculate the two roots now!!
