ANSWER:
-0.5
---WORK---
STEP 1: Restatement of the Equation
-x%2B3x%2B2=3-2
STEP 2: Combine like terms
-x%2B3x=2x
CHANGES TO:
2x%2B2=3-2
STEP 3: Simplify the right side
3-2=1
2x%2B2=1
STEP 4: Cancel the lone numbers
2x%2B2=1-2
-------------
2x=-1
STEP 5: Cancel the number before the variable
2x=%28-1%29%2F%282%29
ANSWER:

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1) add the -x and 3x which will equal to 2x because 3x-(1)x=2x: 2x%2B2=3-2
2) then add 3-2 which equals 1: 2x%2B2=1
3) now move the +2 to the other side by subtracting it on both sides 2x+2-2=1-2: 2x=1-2
4) 1-2=-1: 2x=-1
5) to get the x by itself divide each side by 2: 2x%2F2=-1%2F2
6) the answer is x=-1%2F2
