How do you solve this:
3x+3y=24
X-3y=-4

3x + 3y = 24 ----- eq (i)
x - 3y = -4 ----- eq (ii)

Add eqs (ii) & (i) to eliminate y and determine the value of x
Substitute the x-value into any of the two original equations to determine the value of y

Values should be highlight_green%28x+=+5%29, and highlight_green%28y+=+3%29, or (highlight_green%285%29, highlight_green%283%29)
