How to add vectors graphically giving the magnitude, direction, and labeling them. It is v1=8.0 cm at 0 degrees and v2:6.0 cm at 90 degrees. How would you do this?
--------------
To do it graphically, draw them on an x-y plane.
Draw the 1st one from the Origin to (8,0).
Draw the 2nd one beginning at (8,0), called "head to tail."
The vector from the Origin to the end of the 2nd vector is the resultant.
Measure its length and its angle with the x-axis.
