You can put this solution on YOUR website!

http://www.easycalculation.com/area/learn-ellipse.php
the formula for the area of the ellipse is given as pi * r1 * r2
the formula for the perimeter of the ellipse is given as 2%2Api%2Asqrt%28%28%28r1%29%5E2%2B%28r2%29%5E2%29%2F2%29.
from what i read elsewhere, this is not an exact value, but an approximation.
the exact value involves the use of calculus.
an example for how to use this formula is:
let r1 = 3 and let r2 = 4.
the area of the ellipse is pi * 3 * 4 = 12 * pi = 37.69911184 square units.
the perimeter of the ellipse is 2+%2A+pi+%2A+sqrt%28%283%5E2%2B4%5E2%29%2F2%29.
that comes out to be 2+%2A+pi+%2A+sqrt%2812.5%29 which becomes 7.071067812 * pi = 22.21441469 units.
you can round these answers to the nearest decimal place required.
just substitute your numbers for r1 and r2 to calculate what you require, if i understood your question correctly.
