You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can find the slope (m) of a line passing through two points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) using the formula for slope:
m+=+%28y2-y1%29%2F%28x2-x1%29
In your problem, (0, -3) is (x1, y1) and (7, -5) is (x2, y2)
Substituting into the formula, you have:
m+=+%28-5-%28-3%29%29%2F%287-0%29
m+=+-2%2F7 This is the slope!
