You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let your first number be A.
Let the other number be B.
A%2BB=58
B=A%2B17
Substitute for B in the first equation and solve,
A%2B%28A%2B17%29=58
2A=41
A=41%2F2
B=A%2B17
B=41%2F2%2B34%2F2=75%2F2
Your first number is 41/2 and the second is 75/2.
