The limit as what? As increases without bound? decreases without bound? approaches some , in particular ? From the right or left or both directions?
The fact that you asked this question in the manner you did tells me that you lack the basic understanding of limits required to advance in your study of the Calculus. Go back to the VERY BEGINNING of your study of limits and start over. If you have to drop out of this class and re-take it next semester, so be it. Do not go forward until you have a completely firm foundation.
