You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
3x-5y=15
x-intercept:
If y=0, then 3x = 15, so x = 5
y-intercept:
If x= 0, then -5y = 15, so y = -3

You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
First solve for y, when x = 0
3(0)-5y=15
-5y=15
y=-3
y = 0
3x-5(0)=15
3x=15
x=5
Hence, on the grid on the horizontal axis or the x-intercept; is 5,0 and the vertical axis or the y-intercept ;is 0,-3
