multi-step problem consider some rectangles with a perimeter of 24 inches
copy and complete the table
the table has columns and there is 4 colums across and 7 down and from left to right it says width(in.), perimeter(in.), length(in.), and area(in.2)

Put a number in for length; the other columns values can be derived

Example:
Let L = 4,perimeter=24,so W = [(24-2*4)/2] = 8,and area = 32 sq in
Let L = 5,perimeter = 24,so W = [(24-2*5)/2]=6, and area = 30 sq in
---
Do this for seven values of L.
