Evaluate: Anything raised to the zero power = 1.
1) 3%2Ax%5E0+=+3%2A1 = 3 Notice that only the x is raised to the zero power and x%5E0+=+1.
2) %283%2Ax%29%5E0+=+%283%5E0%29%28x%5E0%29 = 1 Here, both the 3 and the x are raised to the zero power.
