Question 1144281: Without doing any calculation explain whether you think the rectangular box or cylinder box will have the greater volume

You can put this solution on YOUR website! .
Fill the cylindrical box with water or with sand -- on your choice.
Then pour the water from the cylindrical box to the rectangular one or empty the sand from one box to the other,
and you will get the answer without using a calculator.
Or, if, in opposite, the boxes are hermetically closed, you may determine which of the two boxes displace more water,
when they are submerged into a filled pool, one after another, in two independent experiments.
