1.  If "x" approaches  pi%2F2 from the left side,  tan(x) tends to  "+ infinity".



2.  If "x" approaches  pi%2F2 from the right side,  tan(x) tends to "- infinity".



3.  So the function  y = tan(x)  is not a continuous function at  pi%2F2.



4.  In general case, if the sequence  x%5Bn%5D  approaches to  pi%2F2  in a way that the values of  x%5Bn%5D  lie in both sides of the value  pi%2F2,

    then the sequence  tan%28x%5Bn%5D%29  HAS NO limit.
