You can put this solution on YOUR website! 6x plus 3 equals 45
----
6x + 3 = 45
---
Subtract 3 from both sides to get:
6x = 42
---
Divide both sides by 6 to get:
x = 7

You can put this solution on YOUR website! " No job too big, no job too small."
I want to get the term with the unknown in
it on one side by itself
To do this, I subtract from both sides
-----------------------------------------
-----------------
Now divide both sides by answer
----------------------------
Hope this helps. Just remember, whatever
you do to one side, you must do the same
thing to the other side.
That way, you keep both sides equal
