You can put this solution on YOUR website! when changing 67,430,000 to scientific notation, how many places is the decimal point moved?

You can move the decimal point as many places to the left as wanted, depending on
what number times a power of ten you want to end up with.
For example:
6743(10^4) (move decimal 4 places to the left)
674.3(10^5)(move decimal 5 places to the left)
67.43(10^6)(move decimal 6 places to the left)
6.743(10^7)(move decimal 7 places to the left)
I believe the 4th example would be the choice of most because you want to end up working with a number that is less than 10.
