You can put this solution on YOUR website! Which one of the following sets of ordered pairs is NOT that of a function?
Method: Look for repeated x-values. See if they have different y-values.
If they do, you do not have a function.
A. (1,1),(2,2)(3,3)(4,0):: no repeats
B. (1,2)(3,4),(5,6),(8,8);; no repeats
C. (1,1)(2,1)(3,1),(4,1):: no repeats
D (1,0),(1,1),(2,0), (2,2):: "1" repeats and has y-values of 0 and 1; So
"D" is not a function.
