base of 9, a hypotenuse of 15 and an unknown height h .
Let's find the length of the third leg of the triangle
which will be the height.

81+%2B+h%5E2+=+225+
subtract 81 from each side
h%5E2+=+144
h+=+sqrt%28144%29= 12
Now we know that our trapezoid is made up of
