You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4*-x + 4*3 = -16 -3x
-4x+ 12 =-16 -3x
add 4x on both sides
4x-4x+12 =4x -16 -3x
12 = x-16
add 16 on both sides
12 + 16 = x-16 + 16
28 = x

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

4%28-x%2B3%29=%28-16-3x%29..first multiply left side

4%28-x%29%2B4%2A3=-16-3x

-4x%2B12=-16-3x....add 4x to both sides

-4x%2B4x%2B12=-16-3x%2B4x

-cross%284x%29%2Bcross%284x%29%2B12=-16%2Bx

12=-16%2Bx....add 16 to both sides

12%2B16=-16%2B16%2Bx

28=-cross%2816%29%2Bcross%2816%29%2Bx

28=x
