You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1.13x-2y=70
2.2x-2y=4
From eq. 2,
2y=2x-4
Substitute into eq. 1
13x-2y=70
13x-%282x-4%29=70
11x%2B4=70
11x=66
highlight%28+x=6%29
Then use eq. 2 to find y.
2y=2x-4
2y=2%286%29-4
2y=12-4=8
highlight%28+y=4%29

I do not know how to solve this
13x-2y=70
2x-2y=4
Its substituting
13x - 2y = 70
2x - 2y = 4 (using elimination so I am multiplying this by -1 and adding to the above line to cancel out the y)
11x + 0y = 66 --> x = 6
-2x + 2y = -4
-2(6) + 2y = -4
-12 + 2y = -4
2y = 8
y = 4
check:
13(6) - 2(4) = 78 - 8 = 70
2(6) - 2(4) = 12 - 8 = 4

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(1) 13x-2y=70
(2) 2x-2y=4
Divide both sides of (2) by 2
(2) x+-+y+=+2
Add y to both sides
(2) x+=+y+%2B+2
Substitute this value for x in (1)
(1) 13%2A%28y+%2B+2%29+-+2y+=+70
(1) 13y+%2B+26+-+2y+=+70
Subtract 26 from both sides
(1) 11y+=+70+-+26
(1) 11y+=+44
(1) y+=+4
Now substitute this into (2)
(2) 2x+-+2%2A4+=+4
Add 8 to both sides
(2) 2x+=+4+%2B+8
(2) 2x+=+12
(2) x+=+6
The solution is x = 6 and y = 4
