The circle has equation x^2+y^2=4
The line has equation y=-2x+10
if one substitutes, x^2+4x^2-40x+100=4
5x^2-40x+96=0
This has only complex solutions. I'm not sure if that is what is desired in the question, but the two do not intersect.
