You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a) Write the number in scientific notation:
4,345,000. = 4.345x10^6 (says decimal point would move Up 6 to get the original)

b) Write the number in scientific notation:
0.00095 = 9.5x10^(highlight%28-4%29) (says decimal point would move Back 4 to get the original)
c) 3.55×〖10〗^5 = 355,000.
d) 2.3×〖10〗^(-4) = .00023

Standard notation means the first is 1.0-9.9
4.345 is the first part. Count from the decimal to the end, and if it is to the right 6 places, as it is here, then it is 4.345 x 10^6.
Start with 9.5. Count from between those numbers to the left until you reach the decimal. That is four places. So it is 9.5 x 10^(-4)
Put 5 numbers after the decimal. The first two are 55, the last three are 000.
355000 is the number or 355,000.
Put three zeros before the two, and the fourth place is between the 2 and the 3.
