Hi there,
x^2 + 6x + 2
I am going to complete
the square.
x^2 + 6x .......2
Halve 6 and square the result
= 9
Add 9 to the left hand equation
Add -9 to the right (2)
x^2 + 6x + 9......-9 + 2
Factorize the left equation
(x + 3)^2.....-7
Turning point = -3,-7
y coordinate = -7
