Why problems go unsolved Some reasons why problems are not solved. 1) About 50% of problems are solved each day. 2) Problems lack sufficient information. 3) No question is asked. 4) The problem is worded poorly so that we can't understand the problem 5) No tutors available for that category. Some tutors only answer certain categories so it is important to tag your problem correctly. 6) Your problem got lost in the shuffle. Problems posted late in the day or early in the morning might get hidden. The most recent problems are posted first. This is another reason to post in the correct category. 7) Not following rules is a reason some questions are not answered. Some folks post the same problem repeatedly 8) Demanding help or whining 9) Obvious attempts to pass off a homework assignment. 10 No attempt to answer the question.
