You can put this solution on YOUR website! Two possible answers: 2% of 140=2.8
But if the credit card included a 2% charge, then the bill x, + 2% of x (.02 x)=140 pounds
1.02x =140
x=137.25 pounds
2% of that is 2.75 pounds.
