You can put this solution on YOUR website! Okay so the cost is $82 and it is mark down 10%. This can happen in real life also. For example, a Tommy Bahamas shirt cost $82, but you have a promo code for 10% off. You take 10%/100% = .1 or .10 either one is fine. Then you take $82 and multiply it by .1.
$82*.1 = 8.2
Take $82 - 8.2 = $73.80
So, it only took off $8.20 from the $82.
Answer is $73.80.
