How do you convert percents into decimals and decimals into percents?
PERCENT MEANS PER HUNDRED
60% MEANS 60/100...SO SIMPLY DIVIDE THE GIVEN PERCENTAGE WITH HUNDRED.
IF IT IS TO BE PUT IN DECIMAL ,SIMPLY SHIFT THE DECIMAL FROM ITS PRESENT POSITION 2 PLACES TO THE LEFT.
60% = 60/100 = 60.0/100= 0.600 = 0.6
SAME WAY
3% = 3/100 = 3.00/100 = 0.03
